Daily Self-Reiki is an important aspect of the practice of Reiki Ryoho. Developing a ‘me-first’ approach allows you to be in better balance/ better health before working with others.

Komyo ReikiDo – a ‘Keep it Simple’ Reiki System originated in Japan with renown Japanese Reiki Teacher, Inamoto Hyakuten Sensei.
Hyakuten Sensei, a Buddhist monk from Kyoto Japan is known for his humor and humility. He travels internationally, teaching Reiki Teachers so that they can bring this simple practice to others.
Whether You Are New to Reiki or a Seasoned Reiki Practitioner, you will find this weekend training helpful for self-care and also in aiding others. This course is also available as a refresher for our students who have taken it in the past. Repeating classes is part of our spiritual growth and deepening of our practice and offered at discount.
This is the beginning of your Reiki journey. Where you go, depends on you, your personal and professional goals, and where the practice takes you. After completing this level, you will be able to join inperson and/or online Reiki Shares during which you will increase confidence and expertise, deepen your practice, and learn more about offering reiki to others, including family, friends, neighbors, pets and plants. (Note: 2nd Level Reiki is recommended for public or clinical practice).

*Initial Komyo ReikiDo classes are offered in-person only with face-to-face Reiju (attunements/initiation). After your inperson Reiju, you may attend Reiki clinics, Reiki shares, practicums and refreshers in-person or on-line (virtually).

Manuals for our courses are written by Hyakuten Sensei and contain the verifiable history of reiki along with steps for self-reiki. (Reiki for others will be addressed at the 3 post-class supervised practicums, which are included in this course fee).
A healthy lunch along with introduction to other integrative therapies for self-care will be offered. Enjoy beautiful grounds to walk and meditate throughout the weekend.
Discounted fees for Komyo ReikiDo students taking as a refresher. ‘Continuing ed’ fee for Komyo Reiki Kai and Komyo ReikiDo students from other Shihan attending this course as a refresher. Refreshers are offered ‘as space allows.’
